MSI is recruiting for qualified Moldovan staff with experience in judicial reform, court administration, judicial training, institutional development, civil society advocacy, and donor financial management for an upcoming judicial strengthening project. The four-year program will strengthen the institutional capacity of key justice sector institutions, including the Superior Council of Magistracy, Department of Judicial Administration and National Institute of Justice, in order to guarantee the independence and increase the effectiveness of the judiciary. The project will also increase the capacity of civil society to monitor and advocate for justice sector reform and improve public legal awareness.
Deputy Chief of Party: A degree in law or a graduate degree in court administration; at least 10 years of experience working in the justice sector with at least 5 of those years working in the area of judicial reform and institutional development; and previous experience managing teams of technical experts and implementing complex judicial reform programs.
Program Manager Positions (Judicial Training, Court Administration and Case Management, Judicial Training): A degree in law or public administration and a minimum of 5-10 years work experience in the justice sector or court administration system and/or experience in designing and conducting judicial training programs is required, as relevant to the position.
Program Manager Positions (Civil Society Advocacy and Court Monitoring): An undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5-7 years work experience in conducting civil society advocacy and public education campaigns, policy and legal reform programs, or court monitoring is required.
Finance/Administration and Grant Manager: An undergraduate degree in finance or a related field, or a professional qualification in accountancy or grant management is required.
