MARKET INTELLIGENCE ANALYST

Travel: 30-40 Days/Annum.
Position Type: Full-Time.

Introduction:
Global Market Intelligence is the central corporate market & competitive intelligence function of Cheminova A/S, with global responsibility for research, analysis, reporting and presentation of relevant developments and trends within the competitive landscape for strategic-decision support. Its operations span all levels of the value-chain and a multitude of international markets in support of our country-subsidiaries, regional organisations, centralised global functions and executive management. Today the team is split in two locations; one group at our corporate headquarters in Harboore, Denmark and the other at our Chisinau, Moldova office. You will join an existing team of six.
Role Purpose:
Enable timely, actionable and value-generating strategic decision-making via delivering high-quality analysis and recommendations.
Direct Responsibilities:
- Gather, collate and work in-depth with both quantitative and qualitative data/databases to provide multi-source analyses & assessments of key intelligence topics.
- Plan and execute major research reports.
- Prepare profiles, presentations and background research on various key issues.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests on competitive and strategic issues from global or central internal customers.
- Support in development of market intelligence tools and processes.
- Assist with external negotiations.
Ideal Personal Profile:
Demonstrated research, analytical and written/oral presentation skills are a must, as are excellent time-management/multi-tasking abilities. By nature you are inquisitive, with an inherent desire to learn the fundamental causes of events within a global context. It is important that you are at the stage in your life where building a career is your main priority. Likewise within our team we appreciate humour, sarcasm and irony and incorporate such within our daily working environment; ergo an appreciation and good sense of these qualities would be a definite asset.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree minimum; obtained from a top certified graduate school program no earlier than 2008 within a relevant field (e.g. economics, international business) with multi-discipline combination degrees preferred.
- 1-3 years international experience (e.g. living abroad, travel, study).
- English fluency, both written and oral.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, especially Excel (PIVOT charts & tables) and PowerPoint.
- Internet super-user.
- A new graduate or 2-3 years relevant experience is preferred.
