Maintenance engineer

Lear Corporation one of the world's leading suppliers of automotive seating and electrical power management systems is seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing successful completion of all tasks pertaining to preventive maintenance and commissioning of new machines to ensure economical viability, timely completion and high quality.
2. Making sure that all production machines, auxiliary tools, machine tools, power engineering appliances and environmental protection devices used on the premises are fully operational.
3. Managing day-to-day preventive maintenance in all departments in close cooperation with Plant Managers and Technologists.
4. Overseeing drawing up of documentation by Preventive Maintenance Services and Operators Manuals of machines installed in the plant.
5. Ensuring efficient energy use by the plant. Day-to-day monitoring of energy use, co-operation with relevant utilities.
6. Ensuring efficient spare parts management and economy.
7. Ensuring validity of certificates and licenses held by employees of Preventive Maintenance Services.
8. Planning and overseeing repairs, installation and construction works carried out on the plant's premises.
9. Organising and planning of work by Preventive Maintenance Services according to ISO TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
10. Implementation of rules set out in the Quality Manual, Environmental Management System, Health and Safety as well as procedures and instructions documenting the integrated management systems.
