Overview of your role inside the team:

Pentalog expands its development team through different projects and is looking for a PHP Team Leader and 2 PHP Software Engineers. Your mission includes active involvement in developing and maintaining web-applications using Magento.

As a PHP Software Engineer, you will have the following main activities:

- New modules development and expansion of current web applications;
- Current applications maintenance and implementation of new ones by solving possibles errors and testing modules;
- Technical solutions;
- Adding new features for increasing functionality;
- Writing technical specifications and performance reports.

As a PHP Team Leader, you will make good proof of:

- An efficient communication flow between the customer and the entire development team;
- Self-confidence and accuracy in presenting both the limits and the advantages of a solution that would answer the customer’s needs;
- Rigor in ensuring high quality solutions delivery, in compliance with agreed specifications and within the agreed time scales;
- Regular releases during the development phase;
- Innovation by adding and debating new ideas for the products and processes involved;
- Involvement while participating in the development process;
- Proactive attitude in identifying specific problems and suggesting optimization solutions;
- Capability to provide both positive and negative feedback to the team members;
- Coaching and mentoring less experienced team members when necessary;
- Rigor in writing documentation and reports for all development work undertaken.

Requirements :

- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
- Confirmed experience in working on PHP based online applications, website projects:
- PHP, Magento, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, Jquery knowledge;
- Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Very strong knowledge of at least one associate framework will be a plus (Zend, Symfony, etc.);
- Working experience with databases: Postgres or MySQL;
- English: advanced level;
- French: is a plus.
