JOB DESCRIPTION
In the frame of a new project we are searching:
Lotus Notes Developer
Purpose:
• Responsible for the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of business applications by understanding business requirements and translating those requirements into workable Lotus Notes solutions.
• Support and maintain the Serena Collage CMS, via template language, admin panel, doc types and tool set. Leverage Collage's template language to maintain and build web pages, templates, page elements, landing pages, XML documents, banners and other instances. Extend Collage using the advanced features of the CMS.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure that business group Information Technology requirements are appropriately determined by performing analysis of business requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement appropriate and supportable application software solutions which meet business needs by involving the business group in the design process, gaining business approval for the software design, including the business group in user testing, translating the business requirements into technical project requirements, and analyzing the solution in light of the existing technology standards.
• Provide adequate support for existing applications by performing required problem analysis and resolution and by designing, developing, testing, and implementing approved application software changes.
• Create templates and web pages using HTML, CSS, XHTML and Javascript.
• Provide technical leadership to other members of the development team.
• Content Development - consult with internal clients to gather requirements, develop specifications, iterate designs and receive feedback.
• Manage the various aspects of assigned projects, including resources, people, deadlines, and other facets - with little supervision.
• Create and update documentation during projects
Knowledge and Experience:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• At least four years development experience in Lotus Notes/Domino
• Expertise in Lotus Formula Language, LotusScript, and JavaScript
• Demonstrated ability in JavaScript, DHTML and image editing software
• Experience in developing web pages (user interface, text, graphics, forms, usability and accessibility compliance), using standard web languages and authoring tools (without being dependent on them).
• An understanding of information design, interface design, interactivity design, usability, and accessibility.
• Must have excellent creativity, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, research, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of English language is essential.
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Proven ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to handle multiple major projects in an organized and efficient manner.
Advantageous:
• Expertise interfacing Domino apps with external databases (SQLServer, Oracle, SAP, etc) is a plus.
• Expertise in HTML, CSS, Java, XML, XSLT, XHTML; other Web development skills is a plus.
• Experience with Flash and graphic design abilities are pluses.
• Experience in Content Management System a plus
