Layout editor / technical designer

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.com), a proactive and dynamic team specializing in microfinance development and consulting invites applications for a Layout Editor / Technical Designer.

Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova
Duration: Full-time

Job responsibilities:
• Design the format of documents and publications in MS Word and Adobe InDesign
• Develop templates and correct the editorial layouts (PowerPoint presentations, questionnaires, leaflets, etc.)
• Assemble text, photos and other content in an aesthetic and easy-to-read arrangement
• Design layout of illustrations, organizational charts, infographics, maps, etc.
• Organize printing of documents and marketing materials
• Perform other related duties as assigned


Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as layout editor of newspaper, magazine or books
• Solid understanding of graphic design and typography principles
• Excellent computer skills and advanced knowledge of MS Word and Adobe InDesign (certificate or associate degree is an asset).
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
• Fluency in Russian and English (spoken, written)
• High sense of responsibility, hard-work and punctuality, as well as resistance to stress.
