Java engineer (visualization)

An American Company is seeking experienced Java engineers. Suitable candidates are motivated, multi-tasking self-starters with a strong work ethic and who possesses the following qualifications:
1. 7+years of industry working experience, including: Java, Object-oriented programming, Development of thread-safe code.
2. Image processing experience.
3. Strong design and architectural skills to include functional and design specification authoring and direct experience in all phases of the software development lifecycle including demonstrable role in the delivery of software products and direct support of end users.
4. Candidate should be able to demonstrate cognizance of client/server principles and constructs, abstraction layers and the application of design principles to minimize dependencies, enhance serviceability and minimize overhead (optimize performance).
5. Strong working knowledge of internet and networking protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP etc.), process development and SQL.
6. Excellent analytical, critical thinking and debugging skills.
7. Project Lead experience.
8. Image compression, image manipulation, image enhancement.
9. DICOM.
10. WebGL/ OpenGL.
11. Systems-level software engineering experience (e.g., kernel or file systems level experience).
12. Familiarity with C++, C, Windows, Mac, Mobile Devices (particularly iPad and iPhone), AWSand/or GWT.
13. Familiarity with STL/Boost libraries.
14. Multiprocessing/multithreaded, reentrant coding experience.
15. Experience with the construction of installable components (packages or RPMs).
16. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
17. MS or PhD in Computer Science.
