IT Asset Management Practice Lead for IT Service Management Department

Role:
We're looking for rigorous Hardware and Software Asset Manager who will help us with administering IT assets and software licenses throughout their life cycle within the company and for our clients to ensure their effective and efficient use.We expect successful candidate will have understanding of various licensing models and be able to recommend the most appropriate license type for the business case, as well as can quickly obtain broad understanding of the hardware environment within the enterprise and its topology. His day-to-day activity will be connected with mapping the results of audits and discovery scans with the actual inventory and further reconciliation of any inconsistencies.

Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for defining and following processes, coordinating other peers and acting to:
- Maintain IT Asset Management (Software and Hardware) procedures;
- Maintain partnerships programs;
- Receive and handle requests for support agreed procedures. Respond to requests for support by providing information to enable problem resolution;
- Maintain records and advises relevant persons of actions taken;

Requirements:
Technical skills:
Software asset management. Proficient with:
- Software asset managementprocess;
- Conductingsoftware Inventory and audits;
- Handling of software license requests including pre-sales licensing consultancy;
Hardware Management. Proficient with:
- Hardware asset management process;
- Conducting hardware Inventory and audits;
- Managing hardware inventory.
Partnerships Programs: proficient with Partnerships Programs management and maintenance (e.g.: Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, RedHat, Appleetc)
- Acquisition and Procurement: proficient with acquisition of hardware equipment;
- Operating Systems:awareof administering and maintenance of wide range of OS (Windows or Linux);
Soft skills:
- Good analytical thinking and information acquisition skills;
- Capable to establish relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Effective and sensitive communicator in different societies and cultures;
- Familiar with basic customer service techniques;
- Good level of both oral and writing communication skills;
- Proficient in spoken and written English language;
