Intermediate Software Integration Engineer

The company:
R&D office of the International Company, provider of communications products and services

Duties & Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain test scripts and tools to support functional, performance, load and scalability testing for all aspects.
•Create, maintain and execute test plans and test cases
•Plan, track, assess and report the maturity and stability of software releases
•Collaborate with others to continuously improve testing practices

Qualifications & Experience:
•Experience in Linux Systems:
Knowing shell commands
Writing shell\Perl\Python scripts
Virtual Machines
•Experience writing SQL queries and interacting with SQL databases
•Knowledge with XML
•Experience in internet protocols
•Experience testing web applications and database applications
•Experience designing, implementing and maintaining test environments
•Experience writing and maintaining software automation tests and scripts
•Experience testing web services – Advantage
•Experience with Java or a similar language – Advantage
•Experience with SVN or a similar source control tool – Advantage
•Ability to work well in a team environment
•Adequate communication skills in English
