HEAD OF TRANSPORT DIVISION

Summary of position:
The Transport Division is a subdivision of the Company's Infrastructure Development Department.

The main task of the Transport Division is to ensure the functionality of the special transport units in order to provide the Airport's 24 hours operation. At the present moment, Chisinau International Airport intends to put up for sale all obsolete vehicles, which cannot be used for the production purposes, so as to enhance the transport fleet. The main transport units represent specialized equipment, meant for the aerodrome and runway daily servicing.

Recently, due to the contract concluded with European Investment Bank, the airport has purchased four units of aerodrome equipment.

Besides the requirements listed below, the candidate for this job shall prove a high level of responsibility with regard to the maintenance management of the aerodrome equipment, as well as human resource management, team building, including prompt response in emergency cases. Before hiring, the candidate will take a specialized course, organized by the Airport, regarding safety management system, which will be the No.1 priority in his activity.

Qalifications:
- University Degree (preferably technical degree or economics);
- Solid experience in the related branch of not less than 3 years;
- Fluency in Romanian and Russian required;
- Knowledge of English would be an strong advantage;
- Computer literate – Microsoft office: Word, Excel;
- Physically and mentally healthy;

Additional requirements:
- Responsibility and good leadership skills;
- Ability to work overtime if necessary;
- Adequate and prompt response in emergency cases;
- Ability to perform economic analysis;
- Evaluation of staff's skills (83 employees in order).
