Flash/Flex Developer

Location: Chicago , IL or remote projects

Salary: TBD







· Development of Flex/Flash interfaces in front of J2EE technologies using maintainable and scalable code.

· Translate product requirements into prioritized tasks paying special attention to detail.

· Ability to work well in a team environment interacting with IT developers, administrators, management, and end users.

· Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.

· Produce excellent, thorough, design, and development documentation.

· Capacity to work between multiple, concurrent projects in a fast paced environment.

· Work closely with the usability and product management teams implementing custom requirements that may change often.

Skills:

· An in-depth knowledge of object-orientated and event based programming models. Applicant should have several years experience working with ActionScript 2 and 3 with emphasis on developing reusable components for rich client interfaces.

· 5 year’s user interface software development, preferably a combination of Flash / Flex.

· 5 years experience in OO ActionScript Development.

· 5 years developing applications using Flex/Eclipse.

· In-depth understanding of synchronous and asynchronous communication between client and server.

· Experience working with ActionScript 2 Components as well as custom component development.

· Ability to represent server data as UI components within a rich client.

· Working knowledge of client side technologies including JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, and CSS.

· Experience using Remoting, Web Services, Flex Data Services, and HTTP requests.

· Requires strong oral and written communication skills.
