HR-Consulting company (www.search4staff.com) on behalf of its client, one of the major ready-mix concrete producers in the Republic of Moldova, located in Chisinau, is seeking candidates for the following open position:
FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Responsibilities:
* Coordinate all accounting, financial reporting and operating data analysis activities
* Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances
* Ensure that financial statements are accurate, complete and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and industry standards
* Prepare financial reports, budgets, cost reports and financial forecasts on a regular basis
* Responsible for the budgetary control in the firm
* Oversee the accounting staff
* Ensure that the decision makers in the firm understand the financial implications of the missions they set for their company in a specific period
Requirements:
* 3 years+ of previous experience in a similar position, including experience of providing Financial Control
* A deep understanding of the accounting principles (including IFRS)
* Ability to think tactically and strategically
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent Excel modelling skills and good PC skills
* Familiarity with the firm's accounting software (1C) would be a big advantage
* Proficiency in Russian, at least intermediate level of Romanian and English languages
