CTS Express Inc is a leading and rapidly growing trucking company based in Chicago. We are building careers for drivers, and we need a key person on the front line. Someone who can capture initial interest and turn it into the start of a conversation.
Your Main Task:
You will be the first voice and the first impression of our company for drivers who have proactively reached out to us. Your mission is to quickly and efficiently process the flow of inbound leads.
This is not just about making calls. This is about quickly selling the opportunity, conducting initial screening, and "warming up" candidates for the next hiring stages. You will assess not only their qualifications but also their level of interest, ensuring only motivated and suitable drivers are passed along.
What You Will Do Daily:
- Rapid Contact: Conduct initial calls to interested drivers as quickly as possible after receiving their application.
- Sales and Screening in One Call: Deliver brief, energetic, and persuasive presentations of the key benefits of a career at CTS Express, while simultaneously verifying basic requirements (experience, documents, location etc.).
- Assess Motivation & "Temperature": Determine the candidate's genuine level of interest, identify their key "pain points" (pay, schedule, routes), and document this in the system.
- Effective Pipeline Handoff: Accurately fill out the CRM with clear notes and hand over "warm" candidates to the next-stage recruiters.
- Pipeline Management: Manage your own flow of inbound leads, tracking metrics for initial contact and conversion to "warm" leads.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Has confident English communication skills (B2/C1+ level). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Has experience in active phone sales, telemarketing, or primary recruitment (3-6 months). We will also consider active and motivated candidates without experience.
- Speaks quickly, clearly, and convincingly. Knows how to grab attention within the first 30 seconds.
- Is resilient to rejection and understands that "no" is part of the process.
- Values speed and results: The goal is not just to make the call but the quality of the initial contact and the lead's subsequent progress.
- Is disciplined and organized: Can systematically handle a high volume of inbound applications.
- Is willing to work according to Chicago Time Zone (CST).
