Devops

The Optimum web team is looking for a talented DevOps engineer.

Qualifications:
- Two or more years’ experience provisioning, operating, and managing Amazon AWS environments;
- Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language Python/Ruby/PHP;
- Server orchestration tools like Fabric or Capistrano;
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on Linux Servers;
- Experience in automation and testing via scripting/programming;
- Experience with Unix/Linux Server, including configuration, deployment, data security, backup - - management, and optimization;
- Experience with virtual environments, including virtual servers, virtual switching, and management;
- Knowledge of system administration of Linux environments and DNS administration and troubleshooting;
- Secret clearance;
- Identify and troubleshoot system related issues reported by monitoring tools;
- Monitor the performance and maintain the stability of Linux servers;
- Participate in Disaster Recovery activities;
- Hands-on knowledge and understanding of hardware configuration and troubleshooting. Ability to resolve problems such as file system capacity, consistency and integrity of file systems, understand and take action on hardware related problems such as CPU, RAM, and disk failures;
- Assist with managing and implementing hardware and software migration and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexity.

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with Deployment Services or other relevant imaging technology;
- Knowledge of networking, closed LAN, or WLAN.
