COMTEK International, a US consulting company with over 10 years experience in Information Technologies, is looking for: Developer/Tester Engineer (for Embedded Tools Development)

Location: Bucharest, Romania
Compensation: based upon communication skills and experience from $3000 to $4000 per month (including per Diem) plus paid hotel/apartment plus all relocation expenses.
Required Experience: at least 3 years
English – required.

Job Description:
The engineer will participate in development of CodeWarrior Embedded Debugger to support various Freescale processors (such as PowerPC, StarCore, ColdFire, etc). The job involves:
• software development, testing, integration and maintenance of the various modules
• development, implementation and execution of test plans and procedures
Requirements:
• University degree, preferable in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronics;
• 1-2 years hands-on experience with C/C++/Java;
• Experience in Perl, min. 1 year;
• Knowledge of operating systems fundamentals, device drivers, multiprocess / multithreaded applications;
• Knowledge of a scripting programming language - such as TCL, Perl;
• Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems;
• Previous experience in development of automated test software;
• Team spirit, able to cooperate and work under pressure;
• Good English command.

The following skills would bring an advantage:
• Knowledge of Embedded Systems;
• Knowledge of CodeWarrior and/or Eclipse plugins development
• Understanding of how a compiler/debugger/build system works;
• Previous experience in development of automated test software;
• Experience in System Integration Test;
• Knowledge of software quality, software development process, version control systems (such as CVS);
• Familiar with multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, Solaris).
