Data Warehouse Architect

Vivat is looking for strong Data Warehouse Architect to work with SOA/ Web Services architectural practice. The ideal candidate: 6-8 years in enterprise and information design and development.

Technologies:
RDBMS, XML Schema, XML, Oracle, PL/SQL, JAVA, XSLT, J2EE, ETL, BI

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Define data requirements and develop logical data models for datawarehouse.
- Experience of building a business intelegence platforms is a big plus
- Develop and apply standards for an enterprise-wide data repository, including data normalization and standardization guidelines, naming conventions, XML naming standards.
- Communicate, enforce and arbitrate all standards. Define and implement appropriate data extraction techniques to support the generation of standardized data.
- Facilitate the translation of business requirements into the design and definition of system data.
- Communication-highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Analysis-proven ability to analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources.
- Detail-oriented-ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining and retaining the "big picture" of the overall system design.
- Problem-solving-provide good, common sense approaches to problems and facilitate problem-solving discussions with team members.
