Data Analyst

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) GmbH, a company specializing in MSME Finance in NIS, Eastern Europe and Asia, offers a challenging opportunity for a Data Analyst to participate in the development of innovative credit scoring solutions in microfinance.
Initial work location will be Moldova.
Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova
Qualifications/skills:
• University degree, preferably in econometrics, statistics or other related field;
• At least 3 years professional experience in statistical data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS);
• Experience in one of the relevant economic fields (banking, finance) preferable;
• Fluency in English;
• Good command of Russian preferable;
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under time pressure;
• Willingness to travel in the NIS Region.
Main duties:
• Perform statistical data analysis and scorecard variables definition;
• Participate in the development and introduction of scoring models;
• Participate in the automation of the credit and quantitative financial analysis processes;
• Train bank staff in MSE Finance/credit scoring implementation and use.
