Data Analyst / Statistics Internship

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (http://www.bfconsulting.org/), specializing in microfinance consulting and development in NIS, Eastern Europe and Asia, offers a challenging opportunity for a Data Analyst / Statistics Internship.

Initial duty station: Chisinau, Moldova

Requirements:
- University degree, preferably in econometrics, statistics or other related field, last year students are encouraged to apply;
- Experience in statistical data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS);
- Experience in one of the relevant economic fields (banking, finance) desirable;
- Fluency in English;
- Good command of Romanian and Russian;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Internship responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the introduction of new statistical products in finance and banking;
- Participate in the automation of quantitative analysis processes;
- Performing statistical data analysis.
