For the Internet project targeting Romania we are seeking for Romanian and English speaking specialists.
The Country Manager will be responsible for:
Expanding the company's existing online business into the Romanian market.
Customizing the company's online product offering to meet the unique needs and interests of the Romanian market. Customization includes (a) localizing the company's website so that its 'look and feel' are consistent with the Romanian market, and (b) ensuring the proper translation of both the website and the underlying application.
Commercializing the company's online product offering by identifying and establishing key partnerships in the Romanian market, and managing such partnerships to drive traffic and ultimately profit. Key partners include but are not limited to search optimization experts, affiliates/webmasters, advertising agencies, media planners and potential land-based collaborators.
Managing customer support staff to ensure service excellence.
Optimizing and reporting on the key performance metrics of the company's Romanian business, and ultimately being evaluated on the Romanian market's profitability.
Background Requirements:
E-commerce background - ideally, with a track record of sourcing and managing online resources in the Romanian market
Romanian market intelligence
Fluent in Romanian and English
Business development and project management experience
Ability to create revenue streams through strategic partnerships
Strong conceptual and analytical skills (numeric and qualitative)
Excellent communications skills (verbal, written and graphical)
Creative 'out-of-the-box' thinker
Attention to detail with budget management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment
