National Recruitment and Selection Agency IDS Consulting announces the vacant position for COUNTRY MANAGER provided by our international partner , a pharmaceutical company.
Duties and responsibilities:
General Management and Control of Operations:
• Provide leadership, vision and strategic direction for the Abdi Ibrahim operations in Moldova;
• Responsible firstly for registration of products, the total financial management including budgeting, review of financial statements, capital expenditure requests, accounts receivable management and the implementation of revenue and profit enhancing programs;
• Will manage approx. 9 people for the first year (6 Medical Representatives, 1 Regional Manager, , 1 Product Manager, 1 Regulatory Affairs Manager)
• Ensure optimal utilization of business systems, programs, policies and procedures in order to drive the delivery of a high level patient care, employee care and business care;
• Will prepare and commit to 2011 budget.
Commercial:
• Manage marketing strategy and execution;
• Actively monitor and evaluate the ongoing market opportunities for the business in Moldova and make informed decisions regarding business development activities;
• Build strong relationships with public authorities, payers, doctors and customers at different levels to strengthen the positioning of the company;
• Ensure sales and distribution by distributors meet agreed upon Service Level Agreements;
• Manage finance, marketing, sales, licensing, customer services;
• Manage sales force by setting inspirational targets, coaching and motivating them
• Will manage sales forces for separate product groups;
The candidate profile:
• Preferably a Moldovian, or an experienced person who is based in Moldova and has worked in pharma with a successful track record of sales
• Male or female;
• Most likely 30 to 45, but we will not limit the search to this range;
• Fluent English and Russian is a must; Moldovian is an advantage;
• Relevant university degree; MBA and/or a healthcare management degree is an advantage;
• Ideally candidates will have strong sales and marketing experience in relevant sectors including healthcare, OTC, or FMCG;
• Strong business acumen and proven responsibility;
• Has successfully managed revenue streams and profitability;
• Knowledge of Health Care and reimbursement system and experience from the healthcare services industry is an advantage;
• Able to define strategy, put action plan in place and continuously follow-up and monitor level of accomplishment. Able to put corrective actions in place where required;
• Extrovert who has good management skills. Able to input ideas as well as take instruction;
• Independent, self starter;
• Flexible and commercially driven to develop opportunities.
