UNITED NATIONS JOINT PROGRAMME ON HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) MOLDOVA
Announces the recruitment of Consultant to assist the CCM, the National HIV/AIDS/STI Control Programme and the National League of PLHA in identifying the priority needs and constraints in HIV/AIDS health system strengthening in the country for the development of the Round VIII Proposal to the Global Fund
The main tasks of the consultant will be to hold consultations with key national stakeholders, to facilitate the discussions with involvement of the NAP, National League of PLHA and other national partners and international partners identifying the main Objectives and key activities to be included in the Round 8 Proposal, to develop the draft of the CCM and HIV/AIDS Components in the view of PLHA of the proposal, disseminate and discuss it with the partners.
At the end of the assignment the Consultant should deliver the following products:
1. A draft version of the HIV/AIDS Component of the proposal in the view of strengthening PLHA and self-support to the Global Fund in the format required in Round 8.
2. Completed relevant annexes related to the HIV/AIDS Component of the proposal in the view of strengthening PLHA and self-support to the Proposal Form.
3. A final version of the HIV/AIDS Component of the proposal in the view of strengthening PLHA and self-support proposal with all relevant annexes.
4. Adjusted main part (text) of the HIV/AIDS Component of the proposal in the view of strengthening PLHA and self-support proposal and/or annexes if necessary.
Requirements for applicants:
• Experience working with the National League of PLHA
• Operational experience in health project management and development will be an advantage.
• An experience in health sector projects and experience in collaboration with foreign donors, knowledge of AIDS programmes and health policy will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in realization of similar tasks.
• Good computer user skills.
• Read, write and speak proficient Russian, knowledge of English will be an asset.
The consultant will be paid a lump sum of $1000 USA.
