COBOL - SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (Code: CD_0803)

Required skills:
Technical:
Good COBOL programming experience
A solid understanding of database design issues
Detailed knowledge of SQL database creation and access
Understanding of iSeries/AS400 operating system
Solid understanding of the full development life cycle
Other:
Computer science degree
Good knowledge of English and Romanian (written and speaking)
Team-working
Availability to travel abroad from time to time
Responsibilities and tasks to be performed
Create and articulate technical designs
Develop and maintain COBOL code and DB2 database tables
Locate and fix defects
Report to team lead and project manager
Receive knowledge transfer from current COBOL developers
