SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (COBOL) (Code: CD_0801)
Required skills:
Technical:
• Good COBOL programming experience
• A solid understanding of database design issues
• Detailed knowledge of SQL database creation and access
• Understanding of iSeries/AS400 operating system
• Solid understanding of the full development life cycle
Other:
• Computer science degree
• Good knowledge of English and Romanian (written and speaking)
• Team-working;
• Availability to travel abroad from time to time.
Responsibilities and tasks to be performed
• Create and articulate technical designs
• Develop and maintain COBOL code and DB2 database tables
• Locate and fix defects
• Report to team lead and project manager
• Receive knowledge transfer from current COBOL developers
