C++ / Python Developer

We are looking for a developer with a strong background in C++ and Python. These are the core languages for this role.

Required skills / experience:

C++ development: solid experience with object-oriented programming and building complex software applications.
Python: experience with scripting, automation, or integrating software components in Python.

Nice-to-have / relevant additional knowledge

1. ROS (Robot Operating System):
Experience with ROS or ROS2 is a strong advantage.
This framework is commonly used in robotics to build modular, communicating software components.
→ Developers familiar with ROS typically understand concepts like nodes, topics, and message passing.
2. Build tools:
Experience with colcon build and CMake.
These tools are used to build and manage C++ projects, especially within ROS environments.
→ Familiarity with these tools shows the candidate understands how larger projects are structured, built, and deployed.
3. Communication via ports:
Understanding of communication protocols and data exchange between software components through TCP/IP or serial ports.
→ Important for enabling communication between different system modules.
4. Software architecture:
Solid understanding of software architecture principles (modularity, dependencies, design patterns).
→ This allows the developer to contribute to system design, not just implementation.
