Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced English-speaking AWS Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain event-sourcing solutions on the AWS platform, leveraging a deep understanding of AWS services and event-driven architecture. This role requires technical expertise in cloud computing and the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
The initial contract duration is 12 months, and it will likely be extended up to Dec 2028.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in AWS Cloud Development or a similar role.
- Expertise with AWS services such as DynamoDB, RDS (AuroraDb), EventBridge, Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, and SNS.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures and event-sourcing patterns.
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript (JavaScript preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, or Terraform.
- Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch for creating dashboards, metrics, alarms, and logging.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer certification (or equivalent cloud platform qualifications).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain event-sourcing solutions and an event-driven rules engine using AWS services.
- Utilize AWS services like S3 and DynamoDB for data storage and processing.
- Build and manage serverless functions with AWS Lambda to process events.
- Configure and oversee API Gateway for event ingress and API management.
- Implement event handling and notifications using SQS and SNS.
- Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and adhere to best security practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, addressing issues proactively.
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, design, and code.
