AREA MANAGER (Moldova, Ukraine, Bulgaria)

International company – leader in the iron and steel industry of Romania and the Eastern Europe – is currently in search of a highly professional Area Manager that will take care of developing a customer database in Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Leading & driving the Sales, Marketing & Distribution activity within the assigned territories
- Selecting a network of local agents and/or distributors
- Increasing sales volumes from existing distributors/customers in the regions
- Pricing Calculations and Analysis for new and existing products/categories
- Generating new sales leads by way of partnering with new distributions for product categories not represented by existing distributor/customer
- Identifying opportunities within the assigned territories for further business development scope
- Communicating with existing distributors for category and coverage expansion
- Sales forecasting, annual budget and sales analysis
- Initiating and leading Customer Resource Management
- Category Management with suggestion on business plan
- Developing multitier relationships to develop customers’ accounts
- Building referral and lead distribution network
- Participating in developing the corporate brand strategy in the territories
- Developing and managing marketing tools and collateral for existing and new customers
- Adopting a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of marketing programs
- Assisting/assuring customers’ on-time payments of invoices
Qualification requirements:
- University degree (preferably: economics, management, marketing or similar)
- Minimum 2 year experience in a sales management & development position (experience with steel and/or construction products will be a great asset)
- Extensive knowledge and deep understanding of business in general (payments, budget, deliveries, service, image, etc.)
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Russian, Romanian, Bulgarian and English is a must (priority: Bulgarian and Russian – Romanian without English or vice versa is acceptable)
- Availability of a valid driving license and extensive driving experience
- Availability of a valid EU passport will be a great asset
- Travelling availability for large part of time (depending on the destination from 2 to 4 nights per week, especially during first year of activity)
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Result-oriented
- Ambitions to build career in international steel trading
