Application Developer Senior
Job summary:
Senior Java Developers will be responsible for full-lifecycle application development projects; the responsibilities of this role are to:
• work with customer representatives and ISS business analysts to produce the application architecture and design
• develop and unit test software applications based on user requirements and design documents
• resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles
As the solutions designed and implemented by ISS are based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Senior Java Developer will be required to master and apply integration standards such as BPEL, JCA, XSLT, J2EE, XML/JMS, WebServices, SOAP, JBI, SCA, SDO etc.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience developing in Java and J2EE in Unix environment
• Experience using Web Servers and J2EE Application Servers
• Experience with XML, XSLT and Web Services
• Experience in using relational databases
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Strong architecture, design and development skills
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Intelligent and creative
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English

The Application Developer will be responsible for full-lifecycle development, translating requirements into designs, and producing implementations. Specifically, he will:
• work with the technical design lead on the overall application architecture in order to design components
• develop and unit test software applications based on user requirements and design documents
• resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles
• produce technical specifications
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have proven experience in:
• JAVA development
• relational databases and data modeling
Working experience on Unix environment is a plus.
Resources must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English, as the work will involve direct client interaction. Other foreign languages skills will be highly appreciated.
