Responsibilities:
1) Engineering support
Supervising project engineering process, including kick-off meeting, hardware and software supervision, acceptance test.
Onsite support for site survey, installation or commissioning when necessary.
Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process.
2) Maintenance support.
On site support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA .
Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and keep tracking these problems during the whole resolving process.
Requirements:
- Troubleshooting/Problem Solving
- Trouble Ticket Management System
- Solid work experience with any real time Billing/Charging system.
- Informix and Oracle DB (release 8i/9i/10i) knowledge and basic administration
- OS Linux/Solaris administration and knowledge
- programming language experience (Perl, Shell scripting)
- TCP/IP protocols knowledge
-Performing job functions at high standards,under pressure of tense/confrontational situations.
-Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding/difficult customers and/or situations;
-Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports.
-Ability to work independently;
-Excellent communication skills.
-Experience with BSS solution including Convergent billing systems, CRM, PRM or OCS(online Charging system), IN will be preferred.
Ideal candidate:
- 3 years+ Experience working in telecom industry.
Ability to interact with diverse customers in a multi-cultural environment;
Willing to travel abroad when needed.
