System Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, configure, and troubleshoot Linux/Windows servers and network devices;
- Install and test new software releases, apply system updates and security patches;
- Provide technical support to users and customers;
- Write and maintain IT system documentation;
- Perform regular system backups, implement recovery procedures, and support disaster recovery planning.
- Proven experience in system and network administration (Linux and/or Windows);
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or similar);
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.);
- Practical knowledge of virtualization platforms (e.g., Xen, VMware, Docker);
- Familiarity with network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls;
- Experience working with monitoring systems (e.g., Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana);
- High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking;
- Strong motivation to learn and adopt new technologies;
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently;
- Solid communication skills.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD);
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure);
- Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., ELK, Wazuh);
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player;
- Good English.
