Founded by Romanian-American and Moldovan-American transportation professionals with a combined experience of over 35 years in all aspects of management and logistics, ROMOTANA’s aim is to benefit the trucking entrepreneurship and the betterment of service for the North- American supply-chain.

Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly reliable and detail-oriented Assistant to the CEO who will support the executive in day-to-day tasks, communications and organizational priorities. This role requires excellent language, communication, multitasking skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the right hand to the CEO in daily operations;
  • Manage and organize the CEO’s schedule and priorities;
  • Review incoming correspondence, memos, and submissions; prioritize and route them appropriately;
  • Support with the preparation of presentations and company materials;
  • Organize and coordinate meetings and company events, including logistics, catering, and materials preparation;
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to office staff and other departments;
  • Continuously improve workflows and efficiency through manager feedback;
  • Represent the company in meetings and events when required;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for:

  • Fluent in English and Romanian (both written and spoken), Russian will be an advantage;
  • Experience in the trucking/logistics sector is a plus;
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (or similar software);
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to create professional reports, correspondence, and presentations;
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional in all communications;
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
