Summary of the role:

As the Business Development Manager, Growth you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities for Salt Edge’s business, be that by expanding to a new market, new customer segment, new industry, licensing activity, etc. You will be a key player in developing business models and go-to-market strategies. You will work directly with the Chief Growth Officer and Business Development team on the growth projects.

What you'll do:
  • Create go-to-market strategies for market entry;
  • Deliver regional set-up by establishing a physical presence, helping in setting up legal entities, and hiring local teams when relevant;
  • Work closely with the ecosystem team to enable regional partners by providing them with the necessary tools knowledge and support to effectively market and sell Salt Edge's products;
  • Enable sales to deliver the first deals in the new markets, ensuring that they meet or exceed revenue targets;
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure successful market entry and growth.
  • Keep stakeholders informed on progress and blockers;
  • Become an industry expert and position yourself as an advisor for our partners and clients;
  • Participate and represent the company at relevant events, conferences, business meetings, webinars to promote Salt Edge brand and solutions and develop relationships with potential partners;
What you need:
  • Fluent in written and spoken English;
  • 5+ years of successful experience in business scaling, business development, in the B2B sector; banking or financial services industry, IT services, SaaS;
  • Proven experience as a successful business manager with the ability to demonstrate value, negotiate complex commercial terms and sell to C-level decision-makers;
  • Solid operational and financial background;
  • Demonstrated success in developing and maintaining executive-level relationships and ability to build lasting partnerships;
  • Hands-on mentality, ability to balance long-term strategic initiatives with operations and execution;
  • Self-starter, goal-oriented, focused, and excellent in time management;
  • Experience with working across geographic and cultural boundaries;
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time.
