-Daily analysis of the market.
-Finding freight according to the owner's needs and arrangements.
-Making sure the drivers have a smooth transit and the load will have a safe and a timely manner delivery.
-Keeping the brokers updated every step of the way.
-Dispatching the drivers and maintaining with them a friendly, positive and goal oriented relationship.
-Taking advantage of the market by covering the trucks in advance, at the same time avoiding possible layovers due to the lack of freight.
-Developing an excellent stress tolerance personality, remaining calm in any emergency situations and making fast and correct decisions.
-Negotiating rates with the brokers and making sure I have a clear awareness of the position we are in, being that a must cover ASAP position or wait and bargain for better options.
-Giving the owners a weekly recap which includes the overall performance against the market standards and taking any objections as future challenges and goals to achieve.
-Making sure I have a deep understanding of the market, verifying and anticipating possible hot zones at the same time avoiding difficult and less paying areas.
