I began working at Hoculus SRL in December 2023. Over time, both the workload and the complexity of tasks increased progressively. Initially, I focused on learning the Shopify ecosystem and completing basic tasks. As I became more familiar with the platform, I started taking on more complex assignments and was responsible for estimating the time and effort required.

Throughout my experience, I’ve had to adapt to various types of work and collaborate with external teams from other companies, adjusting to their organizational structures and workflows. I was also involved in reviewing and estimating full website designs provided by partner companies—breaking them down into sections, creating tasks, and implementing the work.

I learned to work with both Shopify’s REST and GraphQL APIs, which I’ve used in various custom solutions. I also contributed to the development of internal tools to streamline migrations from other CMS platforms to Shopify. In addition, I worked on other internal tools such as A/B testing systems, automation scripts, and web scrapers to support internal workflows and improve efficiency.

Additional responsibilities included improving accessibility, enhancing page speed, and updating legacy websites to newer standards.

I am also responsible for onboarding new developers—helping them get up to speed with our tools and processes, assisting with tasks, and reviewing their work to ensure quality and consistency.
