Weekend dispatcher

About the Company
We are a U.S.-based trucking company with an operations team in Chisinau. Our fleet operates nationwide, and our Moldovan office oversees dispatch, safety, maintenance, and accounting functions.
We are looking for a Weekend Dispatcher who is reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced in the U.S. trucking industry to manage loads, monitor drivers, and handle any issues that arise during the weekend.

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Moldova time)

Main Responsibilities
- Monitor all active loads and ensure on-time deliveries and pickups.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the weekend, providing updates, instructions, and support.
- Handle any issues or emergencies that occur in transit breakdowns, delays, or appointment rescheduling.
- Communicate with brokers and customers to provide accurate load status and resolve problems.
- Update internal spreadsheets and TMS with all relevant trip information.
- Maintain clear handover notes for the weekday dispatch team.

Requirements
- Experience in U.S. trucking dispatching (minimum 1 year required)
- Strong understanding of load boards, rate confirmations, and basic trucking terminology
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions under pressure
- Reliable and responsible, available during the full weekend shift
- Basic computer and Excel/Google Sheets knowledge
