Technical Product | Project Manager

Our RnD team builds a unique technology that automates the most advanced flight ticket search and booking process. We are looking for a Product Owner who can help the RnD team as a bridge between business stakeholders and development.
 
We are looking for a dedicated Product Manager with extensive technical knowledge to lead our scrum team and serve as the main liaison among development teams and stakeholders. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and articulating the product vision, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle from planning to launch, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This includes gathering and validating requirements, managing the product backlog, and optimizing product value.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to ensure that the product(s) effectively meet customer needs and deliver exceptional quality. 

Product Manager Responsibilities:

• Strategize and present product ideas and progress to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and strategic development goals.
• Lead and manage the scrum team, facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective execution of project milestones.
• Collaborate with various internal teams, including sales, customer support, and post-booking, to gather comprehensive requirements that inform the product design and development.
• Define and refine product features based on detailed customer and stakeholder feedback, ensuring alignment with the technical roadmap and business objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the development team and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to meet strategic and operational goals.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog through meticulous backlog refinement sessions, ensuring each item is clearly defined and aligned with the strategic vision.
• Lead the development iterations of the product, adjusting features and processes based on iterative feedback to enhance functionality and user experience before each release.
• Proactively identify and address areas for improvement within the product and the development process, implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and product value.
• Maintain transparent communication with all customers and stakeholders about the product's status, ongoing progress, and strategic direction.

Product Manager Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally with experience in managing technical products or teams. Prior roles as a Business Analyst may also be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of Agile methodologies, with practical experience in managing Agile teams and processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of quickly addressing and resolving technical and business challenges.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient presentation skills, experienced in effectively presenting product strategies and progress to internal teams and external partners.
• Previous experience in the online travel industry and familiarity with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) is highly desirable, providing a significant advantage.
