Safety / Driver Compliance Assistant in a Trucking Company (USA)

Responsibilities:

• Working Hours 15-00-00.00 Moldova Time
• Collect and verify drivers’ documents (CDL, medical card, MVR, PSP, etc.).
• Monitor expiration dates, send reminders, and update records in the system.
• Conduct initial driver evaluations, checking experience and compliance with DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Communicate with drivers: answer questions, assist with paperwork, provide company policy instructions.
• Maintain driver databases, organize and store documentation.
• Support the Safety Department in meeting DOT and internal company standards.

Requirements:

• Experience in the transportation or logistics field is a plus (but not required).
• Knowledge of basic driver documentation and CDL requirements is an advantage.
• English required; Russian/Romanian/Moldovan is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills, ability to resolve issues with drivers professionally.
• Attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to handle a large volume of documents.
• Computer literacy (MS Office, Google Docs/Sheets, databases).
• Willingness to learn and grow in the Safety & Compliance field.
