Safety Assistant in American Trucking Industry

STRATAN INC IS HIRING – SAFETY ASSISTANT WANTED!

Stratan Inc, a growing name in the American trucking industry, is looking for a Safety Assistant to join our team and help us maintain the highest standards in compliance and safety.

You’ll Be Assisting With:

• Directing, monitoring, and reviewing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Enforcing strict safety standards and implementing initiatives to prevent accidents
• Managing monthly DOT and OSHA scorecards across all divisions
• Providing comprehensive safety training and orientations for new hires
• Tracking and reporting weekly and monthly safety incidents and DOT violations
• Managing the random drug testing program for all required employees
• Coordinating medical card and license renewals for DOT drivers
• Ensuring all Federal, State, and Local environmental reporting is up to date
• Taking on additional tasks to support the overall success of the company

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of verified safety assistant experience in the trucking industry
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations
• Experience in reviewing and updating driver data
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to train employees and write comprehensive safety reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) for reporting and data analysis
