Our database practice keeps mission-critical data platforms fast, secure, and always available for government and enterprise clients. We are hiring an Oracle specialist to strengthen 24×7 support for customers operating across APAC hours.

What you’ll work on:
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle databases (single-instance and RAC).
- Administer RMAN, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and (optionally) Exadata environments.
- Design backup / recovery strategies; implement disaster-recovery and replication.
- Tune performance at SQL, instance, and server levels; create monitoring scripts on Linux/Unix.
- Automate routine tasks with Shell, Python, or Ansible; maintain runbooks and procedures.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and on-call rotation during India morning shift.
- Coordinate with customers on capacity planning, change management, and best practices.
- Document solutions and deliver knowledge-transfer sessions to both clients and teammates.

What we expect:
- 5+ years administering Oracle 12c/19c in production, including RAC and Data Guard.
- Strong command of RMAN, backup/recovery design, and HA architectures.
- Solid scripting in Bash or Python; comfortable on Linux/Unix.
- Performance-tuning mindset and customer-facing experience.
- Clear written and spoken English; able to explain complex issues to non-experts.
- Self-directed, organised, and collaborative; familiar with ITIL service processes.
- Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).

Working hours & conditions:
- Core shift: 05 : 30 AM – 01 : 30 PM IST, Monday – Friday.
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional planned overtime.
- Role requires extended screen time and sustained focus; we provide wellness support.
