As a Middle Node.js Developer, you will play a significant role in developing and optimizing backend services that drive the functionality and performance of web applications. This role provides opportunities for career advancement and the chance to tackle complex challenges while working on exciting projects in a collaborative and supportive environment.

About your key responsibilities and impact:

• Developing and maintaining scalable backend services in Node.js that support our dynamic CMS platform;
• Implementing and optimizing APIs for widget configuration, routing management, and theme customization;
• Collaborating closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features;
• Participating in architectural decisions and contributing to improving system performance, scalability, and reliability;
• Ensure code quality through thorough testing, regular code reviews, and adherence to established development best practices;
• Helping onboard new team members and contributing to internal documentation.

Essential professional experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and TypeScript in a production environment;
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs, including authentication, validation, and error handling;
• Experience working with databases, preferably PostgreSQL;
• Understanding of backend architecture principles — modularity, scalability, clean code practices;
• Version control with Git, including working with pull requests and code reviews;
• Experience in agile development processes (sprints, grooming, planning, retrospectives);
• Ability to read and write technical documentation in English and communicate clearly with the team;
• At least 2 years of experience as a backend developer, preferably in a product-oriented team.

Desirable skills and personal features:

• Experience with microservices architecture;
• Familiarity with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka);
• Understanding of caching strategies (e.g., Redis);
• Prior work on CMS-like platforms or dynamic configuration systems;
• Knowledge of frontend basics to better understand integration points;
• Exposure to DevOps practices or infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
