Instrumentation Engineer

MOD Engineering, a multidisciplinary international engineering company based in Chișinău, is looking for an Instrumentation Engineer to join our team.
You will work on diverse and challenging projects in the field of:
Plant Design including oil and gas processing skids, pulp & paper systems, combustion plants.

What you'll do:

• Develop P&ID diagrams for the piping engineering industry.
• Selection of piping instruments (pneumatic, electrical and electronic types) to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Produces technical documents and guides for customers and instrumentation selection, in accordance with applicable directives, codes and standards.
• Research new technological solutions to develop and apply existing products, improving their functionality, construction, appearance and costs.
• Creating primary hook-up sketches for instrumentation and system integration in piping designs.

What we're looking for:

• Education: Higher technical education
• Experience: 0-2 years junior, 2-5 years medium, +5 senior.
• Skills: General 3D/2D modeling and software design knowledge (AutoCAD)
• Knowledge: Familiar with technical documentation standards. Knowledge of measurement instrumentation: concepts of accuracy, precision. Organizational skills and ability to plan working hours.
• Languages: English (minimum B1 level), Romanian, and/or Russian. Italian is a plus.
