Financial analyst (remote)

Trading and production group of companies is looking for a Financial analyst (remote), Ukrainian/ Russian - speaking.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Financial Manager, Financial Analyst, or Financial Controller
• Solid knowledge of both financial (management) and accounting reporting, with clear understanding of their purposes
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience working with 1C 8.3 UPP
• Ukrainian or Russian speaking

Would be an advantage:

• Experience in developing technical specifications for programmers
• Ability to document and describe business processes
• Experience working with large volumes of financial and operational data

Responsibilities and Duties:

• To collect, process, and consolidate information for the company’s investment and other projects
• To calculate planned cost price, maintain expense tracking within cost structure, and monitor actual cost figures
• To control the accuracy of management accounting (as part of financial accounting), including cost items, departments, and other analytical dimensions
• To prepare financial reports such as P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet, and detailed operational expenses by business line(s)
• To perform budget-to-actual analysis (operational and investment budgets), including variance analysis based on responsibility centers
• To monitor project/department expenses in accordance with approved budgets; collaborate daily with treasury on payment requests
• To participate in 1C automation projects, including writing technical specifications
• To prepare reports for banks as required under loan agreements (e.g., financial statement breakdowns)
• To compile quarterly summary information for further use by the accounting department
• To take an active role in budgeting processes across the company/companies
• To maintain regular communication with heads of responsibility centers regarding their budget performance
• To fulfill ad hoc requests from responsibility centers
