Job Summary:

As a Driver Recruiter at Arctic Transport, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified drivers to meet our growing business needs. You will play a vital role in building and maintaining a strong driver workforce, ensuring we continue to deliver top-notch service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified driver candidates.
• Source candidates through online job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
• Screen resumes and applications to assess candidate qualifications and experience.
• Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidate skills, knowledge, and fit.
• Coordinate and manage the hiring process, including background checks, drug screenings, and DOT physicals.
• Build and maintain relationships with driving schools, associations, and other industry partners.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Represent Arctic Transport at job fairs and recruitment events.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Driver Recruiter in the transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and driver qualification requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and industry partners.
• Proficiency in using online job boards, social media, and ATS software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
