DevOps Engineer

Our company has been operating in the market for 5 years, offering a logistics product for drivers in the U.S. market. It is an ecosystem of applications that provides clients with various information such as distance, time, and other relevant data.

We are looking for DevOps for our team.

Core Skills
- Linux Administration – Strong experience with Linux systems (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, etc.), including system monitoring, troubleshooting, package management, and service configuration.
- Containerization – Hands-on knowledge of building and packaging applications into containers (Docker or similar).
- CI/CD & Git – Experience configuring and maintaining pipelines in GitLab CI/CD. Solid understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices.

Preferred Tools & Ecosystem

• Familiarity (and ideally, practical experience) with:
• Ansible – automation and configuration management
• Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch – monitoring and observability stack
• ArgoCD, Helm – GitOps workflows and Kubernetes package management
• Nginx / ingress-nginx – reverse proxy, load balancing, ingress configuration in Kubernetes

Scripting & Programming

Proficiency in at least one scripting language:

• Bash
• Python
• PowerShell (optional, but considered a plus for Windows integrations)

Additional Advantages

• Physical server administration – Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining on-premises hardware servers (not only cloud instances).
• Self-hosted applications – Experience setting up, securing, and maintaining self-hosted applications (e.g., GitLab, monitoring stacks, internal tools).
• Databases – Configuration and basic administration of databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Couchbase, CockroachDB.
• Networking fundamentals – Solid knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, firewall configuration (iptables, ufw), and port forwarding.

Nice-to-Have / Bonus

• Experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting beyond Helm/Ingress basics.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, or Hetzner Cloud).
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform).
• Experience with security hardening (SSL/TLS, IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning).
• Familiarity with logging stacks (EFK/ELK, Loki).
• Knowledge of backup & disaster recovery strategies.
