Buyer

Orange Moldova is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Buyer.
The main objectives of the job are: purchase goods, materials and services considering price, quality and delivery, and ensure the continuity of supply.

• identify the sourcing needs, in cooperation with the internal departments
• ensure continuous supply of required services, goods or materials and communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business
• negotiate contracts, improve prices and commercial terms with suppliers, and review opportunities to make savings using negotiation and procurement best practices, tools and methods
• assess and evaluate suppliers, undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities
• coordinate the selection process, draw up and issue Request for Information or/and Quotations for the suppliers, manage in-depth preparation of negotiation: negotiation scripts, alternative scenarios
• coordinate inside the organization and with the supplier the contract drafting, negotiation and final contract validation
• prepare monthly savings reports and weekly projects status
• ensure compliance to company guidelines, sourcing policies and procedures

• written and verbal communication, listening and presentation skills
• ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• ability to work well under pressure and with short deadlines
• autonomy
• good knowledge of Excel and Business English
