IT Business Analyst (Product team)

The core objective of the Product Analyst role is to examine real-world trucking operations and user workflows in order to define, optimize, and enhance Route One’s digital solutions for U.S. truck drivers and trucking companies.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (9:00–18:00 or 10:00–19:00)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interviews and surveys with truck drivers and fleet managers; document insights and create Customer Journey Maps (CJM) and Pain Maps.
• Identify real business processes, prepare descriptions and diagrams; define real-world usage scenarios of our applications.
• Prepare requirements (BRD, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria).
• Collaborate with designers and developers to define screen structures, required fields, and validation rules.
• Work closely with designers to gather user feedback by conducting interviews and identifying areas that are inconvenient, unclear, missing, or not functioning properly.

Additional responsibilities (Preferably to have experience):

• Research new technologies and potential integrations for the company’s digital solutions, including collecting and analyzing partner API documentation, identifying relevant contacts, and clarifying data access terms.
• Analyze user statistics and behavior using tools such as Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, and Hotjar to determine which features are most used, which screens create friction, and why some drivers fail to complete onboarding. Summarize insights and develop data-driven product hypotheses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a business or product analysis role, preferably within the trucking or logistics industry.
• Proven experience conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability research.
• Experience documenting business processes, creating diagrams, and defining requirements.
• Strong spoken English (B2+) for communicating with U.S. truck drivers and reading technical documentation.
• Familiarity with business analysis methodologies, ERP systems, and CRM software.
• Experience analyzing user behavior with Google Analytics, Hotjar, or similar, will be a strong asset.
• Basic understanding of API, integrations, and data formats (JSON, REST, CSV).
• Awareness of fintech flows (payment authorization, settlement, refunds, tokenization) and compliance basics (PCI DSS, KYC, fraud prevention).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
