The main types of activity of the company are the extraction of mineral deposits, the production and sale of cement, the wholwsale trade of sand and gravel , the provision of subcontracting service in the road construction sector.

The Rezina Cement Plant, located in the North of the Republica of Moldova, 7 km, from the city of Rezina, was put into operation at the end of 1985 , has a total area of over 213 ha and a production capacity of 1.6 million tons per year, which exceeds the national consumption of cement.
Starting with the year 1999, as a result of the acquisition of the majority of shares by the Lafarge Group, the Rezina Cement Plant enters for a period of 5 years in an extensive program of modernization and retechnology, the cost of the investment amounting to approx.17.7 mUSD. Our goal is to build for people and for the planet , to build greener spaces through low CO2 footprint and circular economy.
We invest in technologies that allow the use of alternative fuels, alternative raw materials and green energy:
2010-2015 co-processing of alternative fuels
2017, the inauguration of the Chisinau Innovation Center, created to capitalize on the Group’s global experience and technical know –how , to develop construction solutions adapted to the unique characteristics of local markets
2023, the construction and commissioning of the meteorological and environmental quality monitoring station, donated by the State Hydrometeorological Service.

Purpose / Mission

As a Budgeting and Financial Controlling Manager within the Finance and IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient financial management and control system of economic and financial activity, control processes, respecting national rules in the financial and fiscal field at Lafarge Ciment (Moldova) SA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the company’s controlling function, ensuring accurate financial analysis and reporting.
• Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Monitor performance against budget and KPIs, providing actionable insights to management.
• Drive cost control initiatives and profitability analysis across departments.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS ) and internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and develop the controlling team, fostering a high-performance culture

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and controlling.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, (SAP), and BI tools (Power BI).
• Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English.
