3D Artist, 20 000 - 40 000 mdl

About the Company:
ArtDock is an independent game studio based in Chișinău.
We’re a small, ambitious team passionate about making games that are fun, accessible, and full of personality. And yes — we do have a charismatic office cat.
We’re currently looking for a 3D Artist to join us and help shape our next game.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and unwrap 3D assets for real-time use (props, environments, occasional characters)
• Adapt and optimize assets based on gameplay and performance needs
• Integrate models into Unity, set up materials and prefabs
• Perform basic rigging, skinning, and animation prep
• Collaborate with the team to maintain consistency and efficiency across the asset pipeline

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong modeling and UV skills in Blender
• Good understanding of PBR workflows and how to adapt them for stylized visuals
• Experience integrating and managing assets in Unity
• Basic knowledge of rigging and animation fundamentals
• Ability to iterate quickly and work with both new and existing assets
• Clear communication and reliability in a small team setting

• Blender (required)
• Unity
• Substance Painter, Photoshop, or equivalent for texturing
• Version control tools (Git, Plastic SCM, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with shaders or VFX in Unity
• Familiarity with sculpting tools (Blender or ZBrush)
• Understanding of hair and clothing workflows
• Knowledge of modular asset design and atlasing
• Comfort working across asset types (props, characters, environments)
