Wordpress engineer role (remote) - (3 month contract)

We are actively looking for Wordpress Developer to join to our team. You will be engaged 3 month contract working through the client's product backlog.

Responsibilities

Design and implement websites from initial concept, site architecture, and user interface to finished deliverable
Code and implement WordPress sites by writing HTML/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, custom themes, functions, and plugins
Update and manage Wordpress and WP plugins
Design and implement new features, enhancements, and content of existing websites
Create and update re-usable code libraries/plugins to streamline WordPress development cycle
Facilitate client WordPress training, site documentation and maintenance

Must Have

2 + years experience with designing and implementing application design with HTML5/CSS3.
2+ years experience with PHP and Wordpress in a production environment
Experience writing targeted media queries for multiple devices and resolutions.
Experience adding website functionality using JavaScript
Knowledge of web standards, usability and design best practices
Flexibility and eagerness to identify, learn, and use new and changing technologies
Attention to detail

Other skills a plus…

Experience with a CSS preprocessor of any kind (SASS, LESS)
