MicroTech is an exciting new gaming startup in Kishinev, Moldova. We’re working hard to create a state-of-the-art, next-generation gaming platform that will blow the competition out of the water. Web Team Leader (#MD02)
The right person for this job is someone who loves to get his hands dirty coding, while being able to effectively manage a team, under changing requirements and challenging deadlines.
Job Requirements:
• A PHP ninja (at least 5 years of experience)
• Experienced in leadership positions (at least 3 years)
• Project- and results-oriented
• Experienced and fluent in many of the topics and tools below:
o CSS
o JQuery and other browser-side toolkits
o Web development
o AJAX, JSON, JSONP
o Advanced Javascript
o Wordpress Plugin development
o YII framework
o XSS, XSRF, and other issues with web security
o Experience with MVC web frameworks
o SVN/GIT/Mercurial
• A great team player
• A fast learner
• Able to juggle many projects concurrently
• Great command of English, both written and spoken
You get bonus points for:
• Being an avid gamer!
• B.A. or M.A. in Computer Science or a related field
• Gaming industry experience (but not too much, we like fresh minds)
• Up-to-date on current development trends
• Experience with Scrum or other Agile software development processes
• Great communication skills with remote team members
