Web developer - wordpress/php developer

We are looking for an WordPress/PHP developer with experience in theme building and plugin development. Developer will leverage innovative technologies such as PHP, Bootstrap, JavaScript, React, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3 to develop mobile responsive websites and applications in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will need a can-do attitude and be able to work well in a team environment. You will develop and launch websites and maintain existing websites for our growing client base, supplementing our support, build and tech teams as necessary.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in development and programming and will be able to make a meaningful contribution from day one. You will be comfortable working with team members of all levels. You will be challenged on a daily basis to solve problems in a new and creative way as we continually add new products and services to the company.

Requirements
• At least 5 years’ experience with building WordPress themes and WordPress plugin development. Experience with WordPress Network Sites is a plus.
• At least 8 years’ experience with development using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML and CSS.
• Ability to write clean code and follow coding standards
• Ability to extend Wordpress through code rather than downloading plugins
• Exceptional, pixel-perfect attention to detail

Additional Skills a Plus
• Email troubleshooting experience a plus.
• SEO knowledge a plus
• Design skills a plus (Photoshop, logo design, etc.)
• Linux administration experience a plus.
